Will You Answer the Call of the ‘One Ring’?

There are all kinds of fans traveling somewhere in middle earth but those who dearly wish to take a journey there and back again, even just once more, are in for a real treat that is almost as exciting as second breakfast.

Slash Film reports that, “The Lord of the Rings saga will continue with the standalone anime film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.”

The animated feature is a traveling buddy to the beloved Peter Jackson trilogy. It will explore the untold origins of Helm’s Deep and is being directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell) are Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) are writing the script, so Lord fans are in for a truly great adventure!

That wasn’t the only news that fell on the ears of Lords fans today – Amazon is also creating a big ticket tv series around the trilogy that is set to drop sometime this year. Pack your bags filthy hobbitses, because we are heading back to the world imagined by J.R.R. Tolkien at least a few more times. The battle for middle earth has a few more untold tales.
